June 12, 2006 We were stunned by the phone call we received from Finland this morning! Our special, CH Pikkinokka Icecaps Finn McCool, was awarded his Finnish championship under a provision in the Finnish rules that permits any dog who has his championship in another recognized registry and receives a certificate and "excellent" rating in the European Winners show to be awarded a Finnish championship if the judge decides to award it. The Finnish judge provided Cool with the award in a special ceremony in Helsinki. He is the first North American bred Finnish Spitz to receive a championship title in Finland! Congratulations to Cool on this special honor!

June 1, 2006 We seemed to have missed most of 2005 but are rolling again in 2006! Our imported puppy from Finland, Pyrakka Nasse, had an outstanding weekend in Spokane for the Finnish Spitz Club of America supported entry. Nasse was awarded Best Puppy in Sweepstakes, Winners Dog and Best of Winners! He now just needs a couple of single points to finish his AKC championship. Congratulations Nasse and handler Michelle Leathers!

November, 2004 Cool continued to have a great year, and topped it off by taking Best in Specialty at the 2004 Finnish Spitz Club of America national specialty show. He capped the weekend by taking BOB as well two of the following three days with two group placements over the weekend as well. Congratulations Cool! The day couldn't have gotten much better, except Ice Caps Spice Girl ("Spicy") took the award for Best of Winners! What can we say?

January 2003 CH. Pikkinokka IceCaps Finn McCool finishes the show year as the number 2 ranked Finnish Spitz in both breed and all breed points. Congratulations to our young boy on a fabulous year!

December 31, 2001 AM. CAN. Int'l CH Ice Caps Cinnamon Bear finishes another year ranked as the number two Finnish Spitz in both breed and allbreed points. Congratulations Bear on another fabulous year! As a reward, Bear will now enter semi-retirment and spend most of his days lounging around the house living a dog's good life, rather than performing in the ring. It is so nice to have him home with us.

Not about to be outdone by this youngster, Ice Caps Mariah also took Reserve Winners Bitch at the national, and finished her championship the next day by going Winners Bitch. Congratulations Karaoke and Mariah on a fabulous weekend!
